Foam board

I needed a stamp pad Storage for my ink pads.

I found this idea using foam board on You Tube so I set out to the store, came home and I made one.

It took a couple of hours to make.

I bought the foam board at the dollar store! I bought 6 but only used 3. ( what else can I make?? hmm)

It fits perfectly on my work table and my stamp pads are so easy to see and easy to get to.

I used my own measurements and then followed Leslie's steps.

I accidently deleted my photo of my shelf but this video gives you an idea

Here is the video from Leslie Bockenstette

I am thinking of making a storage shelf to hold my ink bottles and embossing powders!!

Rosettes

Well I finally broke down and bought the  Sizzix Bigz Rosette Die from Stampin Up

I usually score and cut them myself but it gets tiring after awhile. Especially if you have to make several in different sizes.  The Die from Stampin Up makes them from 1 inch to 6 inches and boy is it quick!

The white film that comes in the package is the shim. You need that.  You also need to have the crease pad to score the fold lines.

YES I am using my Hot Glue Gun Helpers to glue the center!! :)

CRAYON RESIST
1) Stamp your image in Basic Black Classic ink or StazOn ink on Glossy White or  plain white card stock.

2) Color areas you want to remain white--or that you want different from your background color--using White  Crayon.

3) Use a brayer or sponge daubers to cover the entire surface of the card stock with ink.

4) Wipe off excess ink with a tissue.

Tips:

·  Give the ink time to dry before coloring your image with your crayon; otherwise the lines of  your image may smudge.

·  After  Step 4, you can color over the masked area with Stampin' Write markers or using watercolor tools.
