I had these two heart shape pictures that I bought years ago from Home Interiors and Gifts!

For some reason I couldn't get rid of them....I like them. Out dated  and pictures fading but the frames  are nice.  So I had an idea that I could paint the frames add a new picture or paint a new picture. That thought stayed in the back of my mind and the pictures went into a box!

I love butterflies, my bathroom has a butterfly theme  Hmm... I have a huge butterfly stamp, two heart shape picture frames.
 AHA moment!!!!
I painted the frames light blue, stamped and inked the butterflies and of course I added some fairy dust  (lightly glittered).

I like the result. What do you think?

Stamping Off!!

I like to try different techniques when stamping.. One of  my favorite techniques is called "Stamping Off".
This Technique is a great way to get several shades of color from one ink pad.
It is also a great way to show motion ,such as a ball moving through the air.

Here is how to do it.

Ink a Stamp using any color ink pad

Stamp the image

Re-stamp the image one or more times without re-inking it.

Another surface to Stamp!!

While I was at the Hardware store I was looking around at all the flooring tiles...you know the isle, the one with all the free samples. : )   I wanted some but I couldn't just take them...so I asked the clerk if I can have a couple and he said "sure take as many as you need!" ... I only took a couple, ok more than a couple.

 When I got home I went right to my craft room. I wiped them clean,  got out my stamping supplies and went at it.
 I used black StazOn ink, The Open Sea Stamp Set from Stampin'Up! Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede and Marina Mist  Stampin' Write Markers from SUP, brown acrylic paint and a sponge
I lightly sponged the brown paint onto the square. Stamped the image, let it dry and then used my markers to lightly color in the sky, sea and ship. When it was dry I put a coat of Mod Podge Clear to seal it all in.  I put felt backing on back. Perfect for coasters!
